Five Freedoms
62
Relationships are not always easy. We as human beings make things difficult even when we think we are making things better. So I tried to think in my wife's shoes, and that was a feat. I hope I can share some insight with you, not to tell you what to do, rather to give you ideas that hopefully will be foundational building. This will be a short hub, so take the five minutes and ponder the thoughts I am putting out there.
Five Freedoms:
1) the freedom to see what I see
2) freedom to say what I feel
3) freedom to feel
4) freedom to ask what one wants
5) freedom to take risks
Love is a feeling
Marriage is a contract
Relationship is work
I have learned, and I am still learning, if my marriage is successful then respect and understanding on both sides keeps on feeding the commitment. If we lose understanding it turns to disrespect, and that is a formula for disaster. I hope that I continue to learn, and not become complacent in my role as husband and a dad.
Thanks for dropping by, promised it would be short.
